Ah, La France!!!...
Wine, Bread and Camembert… What a dream!
Discover la France

It is June and I am here, in Paris, sitting-down on the grass of the Champs de Mars with the Eiffel Tower in front of me, sipping a glass of one of those great bottles of Cotes de Beaune millesimé 1989.

I just bit into a piece of Camembert from Normandy, reading an interesting article about the “chateaux” in the Loire Valley and the intimate story of Eleonore d’Aquitaine.

I was thinking also, earlier, about my father who came here in 1944, after they delivered France from the occupation in the battlefields of Normandy.

Last year, we went to “la cote d’Azur”... incredible light over here! I understand why all those painters lived there. My favorite regions are Britanny where you find the best seafood, crepes and apple cider and Burgundy for the best wines but to tell you the truth, I love also Champagne/Alsace/Loraine for their wines.

Well, it is not that I am getting bored with you but I have to meet my friends in Montmartre for the aperitif (happy hour)….

Enjoy the Ride at Discover la France and I hope to see you in France, soon!
